Oral Presentations

Authors are asked to send a brief CV to the conference secretariat bunsentagung(at)dechema.de  by 28 April 2017.

  • The official languages of the conference are English and German. Authors are expected to give their presentation in the language used in the title published in the conference programme.             

            PLEASE NOTE: Simultaneous translation will not be available.

  • Oral presenters have a time slot of 20 minutes, including 5 minutes for discussion. Full lecturers have a time slot of 40 minutes, including 10 minutes for discussion. Plenary lecturers have a time slot of 45 minutes. Strict timekeeping will be essential for the smooth running of the conference. 
  • Presenters are requested to bring their presentation on a USB with them to the conference and upload it on the presentation laptop in the lecture room before the session starts. Nevertheless we kindly ask you to bring your own laptop computer as a backup.
  • In case that you need internet /special software for your presentation or if you have videos included into your file, please notify the conference secretariat bunsentagung(at)dechema.de  in advance.Also lecturers wishing to use their own laptop are required to notify the conference secretariat bunsentagung(at)dechema.de  in advance.

Poster Presentations

  • The official languages of the conference are English and German. Authors are expected to give their presentation in the language used in the title published in the conference programme.
  • Posters should be prepared according to the given guidelines. Please click here to download the poster instructions.
  • Posters and poster boards are numbered according to the numbers in the final programme. The final programme is available online www.bunsen.de/fileadmin/user_upload/media/bt2017/programm_bunsentagung_2017_ezl.pdf
  • Posters cannot be hanged up before Friday afternoon. Please note that posters can only be displayed during the dedicated Poster Session on Friday evening, 26 May 2017 from 18:15-21:15h. The session will be split between even poster numbers (from 18:15 to 19:45h) and odd poster numbers (from 19:45 to 21:15h), so that authors will have 1,5 hours to present their poster. Authors are asked to be present at their own poster during the Poster Session for discussion.

Poster Awards

Posters will be reviewed by a jury during the Poster Session on Friday evening. Prizes for the best posters and "hot topic" posters will also be awarded.

The Poster Award will take place during the Closing Ceremony on Saturday 27 May 2017 at 16:00.

Only authors present at the Closing Ceremony will be awarded.
