Our mission

The main objective of the German Bunsen Society for Physical Chemistry is the scientific and technological support and promotion of the entire area of physical chemistry. The society brings together scientists from different disciplines and sectors and stimulates interaction between science and innovations in industrial applications. This is achieved by publishing scientific results, distributing news in the field of physical chemistry and organising scientific events and workshops.

Further core activities of the Bunsen Society include the financial support and presentation of awards to outstanding scientists and especially the support and promotion of young physical chemists.
