Spectroscopic Methods in Solid State Diffusion and Reactions
on the occasion of the 65th birthday of Klaus-Dieter Becker
Scope of the Colloquium
The aim of the colloquium is to bring together researchers studying diffusion and reactions in solids with spectroscopic methods. Focus is on the large variety of the pertaining techniques
‒
whether microscopic or macroscopic, nuclear
or non-nuclear
‒
which include conductivity spectroscopy, quasielastic neutron scattering, Mößbauer spectroscopy,
nuclear magnetic resonance, mass spectrometry and neutron reflectometry as well as x-ray absorption, electron spin resonance, photoelectron and optical spectroscopies.
Invited lectures will highlight possibilities of the methods and give examples of modern applications, primarily to inorganic materials. Further contributions to the field of solid state diffusion and reactions will be presented as posters...
